Santa Claus definitely didn’t leave coal in these boys stockings.

On December 29 the boys made their way to the PSAL Holiday Classic at the Armory leaving with spectacular individual and team performances. Many of the boys PR’d and three in particular breaking their respective grade’s records. One athlete in particular was Junior Minhaj Rahman, whose outstanding performance led to PR’s in 3 events: the 55 Meter High Hurdles, the Shot Put (12 lbs), and finally the 4×200 Meter Relay along with three of his teammates. Freshman Adam Sosnicki also had a new best in the Frosh Triple Jump advancing from 3rd to 1st with a performance of 32” 3’. Minhaj said, ”Our team is shaping up to be the #1 track team in Queens and hopefully after that we can take it a step higher.” With plenty of effort and hard work these boys are determined to show their best in their upcoming races in hopes in making it to Cities.
