Celebrate Founders’ Day with The Classic Crossword

Earlier today, Townsend Harris High School celebrated Founders’ Day. Former Assistant Principal Georgia Brandeis returned to host the ceremony, which featured a keynote speech by alumni Jesse Ash and Chantelle Aponte Pearson. In addition, Japanese and Music teacher Mariko Sato Berger presented a Townsend Harris History Quiz Show, and the seniors put on their traditional skit, called “The Hawkademy Awards.”

To help celebrate this special day, Classic staffer senior Sunny Maharjan created this crossword puzzle, which centers (via the circled letters) on a key element of Townsend Harris’s history. You can play below and look for more crosswords from Sunny soon.
