Teacher leaders Mr. Adamkiewicz and Mr. Montalvo organized the PE heART initiative, an event that brought together guests and students to bring awareness to cardiovascular health on January 9. When asked what motivated them to coordinate this event, physical education teacher Mr. Adamkiewicz said, “I wanted to set the stage and offer the students an opportunity to learn about cardiovascular disease. In the past, we had these opportunities, but pre-pandemic, we kind of just shied away from it, and I thought it was time for us to revisit.”
