In 2025, young people across America were mesmerized by two numbers: 6 and 7. The trend grew in intensity over the summer and by the time schools reopened in September, it had reached a fever pitch. Innocent teachers, unaware of the meme, found themselves saying the numbers at random times, leading to chaos in the classroom. For the teachers, it may have gotten old quickly. For the students, not so much.
It would be one thing for teachers to start the school year and accidentally say 6 and 7 only to see their students lose control. Middle schools most likely had it the worst. But to go to Middle School 67, to teach at Middle School 67, would have placed you at the epicenter of it all. This is the story of those students and teachers, and the numbers 6 and 7.
