Methulia is a junior at Townsend Harris High School who enjoys studying and discussing Western philosophy. One of her favorite contributions to The Classic is a news piece on THHS’s upcoming international trip to Italy and Greece, planned for next winter. Her favorite Classic article overall is Malek Ahmed’s news article, “The Man Who Opens Doors: Custodian Hector Benítez Brings Decades of Smiles and Songs,” which she admires for its warmth and celebration of community.
