Freedom of information request regarding student early dismissals in NYC schools

Earlier today, The Classic filed a FOIL (Freedom of Information Law) request with the NYC Department of Education, requesting data on how many students have been sent home early from school due to illness in the past week. We are posting the letter below and will update our readers on how the DOE responds to this request.
